PURPOSE:To manufacture a copper-stabilized multi-core Nb-Ti superconducting wire which reduces the open circuit of Nb-Ti filaments, can make many Nb-Ti filaments buried in a copper matrix extremely fine fires 30mum or below, and having excellent superconductive characteristic such as the critical current density in the drawing process of a composite billet. CONSTITUTION:The process in which superconducting strands 2 with a circular cross section combined with Nb-Ti alloy filaments are manufactured in a copper matrix, the process in which multiple superconducting strands 2 are filled in a copper tube 1 and one or more layers of copper wires 4 are arranged between the superconducting strand-filled layer 3 in the copper tube 1 and the inner face of the copper tube 1 to assemble a composite billet, and the process in which the composite billet is densely machine and draw-machined are provided.
