Optical active 4 substitution 2,6 bis (okisazoriru) production method null of asymmetrical aruko - ru which uses the rhodium complex and its complex of the pyridine derivative
PURPOSE:To obtain a new complex useful for producing an optically active asymmetric alcohol in high optical yield. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I (R1 to R4 are H, 1-12C alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, etc.; X is halogen; Y is halogen, 1-12C alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, etc.) such as 4-chloro-2,6-bis[4'-(S)-isopropyloxazolin-2'-yl]pyridine-trichloro-rho dium. The compound shown by formula I is obtained by treating 4-chloropyridine-2,6- dicarboxylic acid with a chlorinating agent to change into an acid chloride, reacting the acid chloride with a compound shown by formula II to form an amide alcohol, adding a chlorinating agent to the amide alcohol to give an adduct with the amide alcohol with hydrochloride, treating the additive with a base such as caustic soda to give an oxazoline derivative and blending the derivative with a rhodium halide. The compound shown by formula I is used as a catalyst for asymmetrically reducing a ketone to give a corresponding asymmetric alcohol in high optical yield.
