EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS FOR GARBAGE INCINERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove chlorine gas from the exhaust gas of a garbage incinerator and to rapidly cool the exhaust gas after the chlorine gas is removed.;SOLUTION: A soot removing device is provided to the third pipeline 7 communicating with the flue port 1a of a garbage incinerator 1 having a waste charging port 2 and the flue port 1a. A chlorine gas removing filter 3 is provided to the first pipeline 4 becoming the exhaust gas flow passage on the side of the flue port 1a from the soot removing device. A cooling filter bed 5 comprising hydroxide of a group II metal is provided to the terminal of a second pipeline 6. The chlorine gas removing filter 3 is packed with a reactant wherein quick lime is supported on rod-shaped alumina ceramic. The second pipeline 6 is provided in close vicinity to a boiler 8 being a heat exchanger.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
