PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stepped permanent deformation from being generated on the inner peripheral face of a cold shrinkable cylindrical coating material by forming a cut groove of a helical inner peripheral face on the inner peripheral face of a polymeric material hollow body. ;SOLUTION: A V-shaped inner peripheral face cut groove 11 is cut in the inner peripheral face of a permanent-deformation preventive hollow core material 10 for expanded diameter supporting of a poltpropylene or a high density polyethylene, and the cut groove 11 is helically nicked with a thickness of 0.05-0.30 mm left on the outer peripheral side. Further, the cold shrinkable cylindrical coating material 1 into which the hollow core material 10 is inserted is temporarily fitted onto the outer periphery of a power cable terminal connecting part, and the hollow core material 10 is pulled out to be removed. In this case, a stringlike material which is previously drawn out in the form of a string on the other end part, is pulled. Thus the hollow core material 10 is removed along the helical cut while being cut and unraveled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
