PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp ground physical properties a construction site and to analyse an earthquake response of the ground by measuring the vibration data of the investigation object ground, and analysing the earthquake response the investigation object ground based on the vibration data and the known data about the vicinity of the investigation object ground. ;SOLUTION: Analysis values (S wave velocity distribution) are obtained from the measured vibration data, estimated values (soil quality of ground and unit volume weight of ground) are obtained from the existing database, and the strain dependent characteristic for each soil quality is determined. The earthquake engineering foundation bed and foundation bed wave are set, an earthquake response analysis is made, and the input seismic wave for designing the surface foundation bed is generated. The earthquake response analysis and liquefaction judgment of the investigation object ground are made based on the existing database. Ground physical property values at a construction site are accurately grasped by a simple method without requiring an excavation such as boring, and the earthquake response analysis of liquefaction judgment of the ground can be made.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
