PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base structure for a steel structure, which reduces manufacturing costs and is constructed in a simplified manner, and a method for constructing the same. ;SOLUTION: An underground beam 10 is connected to a lower end of a steel column C. The steel column C is positioned and level-adjusted by a positioning anchor bolt 6 for the steel column C arranged on a foundation, and a level adjusting jig 8. Thereafter, the underground beam 10 is connected by bolting to a lower diaphragm 1 and an upper diaphragm 2 provided at respective lower ends of the steel column C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
