PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a reference surface by forming a prescribed place of a member for constituting a waterway to be arranged on both sides of a construction width in a tunnel as a construction directional reference surface and a construction height reference surface. ;SOLUTION: The sensor part 7A is vertically inserted/arranged in a waterway 3 from a groove 3A so that a guide sensor 7 detects an inside surface of the groove 3A communicating with the waterway 3 formed on an upper surface of a member 4 for constituting the circular waterway 3 as a construction directional reference surface to be contacted with an inside surface of one groove 3A. The sensor part 8A is vertically arranged so that a grade sensor 8 detects an upper surface of the member 4 as a construction height reference surface so that the tip part is contacted with the upper surface of the member 4. Thus, even when it is difficult to secure a side allowance width for setting the reference surface, the reference surface can be easily set, in its turn, stable control can be performed, and particularly when a road is two traffic lanes and three traffic lanes, the reference surface is extremely effective in using a larger self- traveling constructing machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
