PURPOSE: To enable assemblage and dismantlement of a fire limiting body to be easily carried out and also enable construction of the fire limiting body to be carried out in a short time while bringing its members into contact with the outer peripheries of long-size bodies according to the number and size of the long-size bodies, thereby enabling gaps to be blocked. ;CONSTITUTION: A plate body 1 made of fireproofing material is disposed around long-size bodies C passed through the opening of a fire limiting body, so as to close the space around the long-size bodies C, and more than two blocks 2 made of fireproofing material are disposed on the fireproofing plate body 1 in such a manner as to surround the long-size bodies C, and fireproofing panels 3 made of hard material are disposed on both of the outsides of the group of fireproofing blocks, and the panels 3 are clamped by clamps 5 so as to bring the fireproofing blocks 2 into contact with the outer peripheries of the long-size bodies C, so as to block the space around the long-size bodies. A fireproofing unit comprising the fireproofing blocks 2 mounted on the hard fireproofing panel 3 is used.
