PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To scrape off an oyster or the like sticking onto the outer surface of a standing pile for a boat pier installed in water by allowing a ring fitted to the outer surface of the pile to float on the surface of sea to thereby scrape the outer surface.;SOLUTION: A boat pier 3 is mounted on the top of a cylindrical pile 2 placed into the bottom of sea 1. The level of sea L moves up and down M in a range L' according to the difference between the high tide and low tide as well as the force of waves. A circular ring 4 having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the pile 2 is loosely fitted around the pile 2 so as to be floatable on the sea level L, and the ring 4 is formed to have a rigidity to prevent deformation or damage thereof. In this case, the ring 4 is fitted to the outer surface 2a in a divided manner in the circumferential direction from the radial direction, and both ends of each divided piece thereof are mutually connected and they are fastened by bolts. The inner surface 4a of the ring 4 is formed with an edge to scrape the outer surface 2a on the sea level L as the ring 4 moves up and down.
