PURPOSE:To obtain a long size false bamboo material more approximating to a natural bamboo even in an external shape and even in appearance regarding the false bamboo material utilized for a strut, a bamboo fence, etc., for agricultural gardening and manufacture thereof. CONSTITUTION:A false bamboo material is manufactured in such a manner that a bent pipe material is formed continuously by diving and passing a thermoplastic synthetic resin blank drawn in a hollow shape from the dice port 5 of an extrusion molding machine under cooling dices (8a-8c) installed at eccentric positions in a water-immersed cooling tank 6, a synthetic resin film 2 for a ground color is formed onto the surface of the pipe material successively or in another process while using the pipe material as a core material 1 as knot sections 4 are protruded at every bent section of the core material 1 and a synthetic resin for pattern films 3 is applied and drawn to each knot section 4 as upper layers.
