PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a cellulose triacetate solution under conditions as close to a normal temperature as possible without use, as a solvent for a cellulose triacetate, of any chlorine-based organic solvent such as methylene chloride and without resorting to any cooling dissolution technique, and also a method for preparing a cellulose triacetate film and the cellulose triacetate film obtained by this method. ;SOLUTION: A method for preparing a cellulose triacetate solution comprises the steps of treating a mixture, which comprises a cellulose triacetate having an average degree of acetylation of 58.0 to 62.5% and an organic solvent mainly composed of at least one non-chlorine-based organic solvent selected from esters having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms, ketones having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms and ethers having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms, under a pressure of 10 to 5,000 kgf/cm2, and further treating the thus treated mixture under a pressure of 0.1 to 10 kgf/cm2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
