PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new D-aminoacylase which is composed of D-aminoacylase arising from molds belonging to the genus Hypomyces, Fusarium or Auricularia and the like and is useful in the efficient production or the like of D-amino acids using microorganisms other than conventional bacteria or ray fungi. ;SOLUTION: This enzyme is a new D-aminoacylase arising from molds belonging to the genus Hypomyces, Fusarium, Auricularia, Pythium or Menisporopsis and is used in the efficient producing method or the like using microorganisms other than conventional bacteria or ray fungi. This D-aminoacylase is obtained by incubating Hypomyces aurantius IFO 06847 strain or the like belonging to the genus Hypomyces in a culture medium containing N-acetyl-DL-amino acid as an inductive substance, grinding after harvest and extracting followed by separation by means of salting out with ammonium sulfate and purification by means of column chromatography.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
