PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly, correctly and easily determine the kind, direction and the like of an electron gun constituting component in an assembly process of an electron gun for a color cathode-ray tube, for example, an internal core jig assembly process without possibility causing the characteristic degradation of the electron gun. ;SOLUTION: Identification marks 1 including letters, signs or patterns by means of marking indicative of a product name, a part number and/or direction are previously formed on the surface of an electron gun constituting component for a color cathode-ray tube, and the assembly of the electron gun for the color cathode-ray tube is carried out by recognizing the product name, the part number and/or the direction for at least part of the electron gun constituting component by the use of the identification marks 1 formed on it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
