PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide measuring unit and method for electron-gun sealing- accuracy of cathode-ray tubes, a manufacturing method for electron gun-sealing units that can seal the electron gun with a high accuracy and cathode-ray tubes, and a master gauge suitable for these measurement of sealing accuracy and sealing. ;SOLUTION: A master gauge is constituted that has a stem 90 installed with at least three stem pins 91 (91A, 91B, 91C), having a thick part 92 and a thin part 93. Electron-gun sealing accuracy of a cathode-ray tube is measured, by using the master gauge on the electron-gun sealing-accuracy measuring unit equipped with a support of holding a body of cathode-ray tube and a stem holder with holes to insert stem pins of the electron gun as the standard unit for measurement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
