PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval device capable of imparting key informa tion selected from the user's viewpoint to an information resource. ;SOLUTION: This information retrieval device 2 includes a means 20 for adding the identifiers(Ids) of information resources stored in an information resource storage device 1 for every information resource, a means 30 for adding the key information of each information resource to the information resource, a means 40 for managing the key information correspondingly to each ID, and a means 50 for receiving the retrieval key information specified by a user in order to retrieve a certain information resource. The device 2 includes also a means 60 for preparing an information resource list arrayed in the order of priority based on similarity between the retrieved key information and the managed key information, a means 70 for providing the list to the user, a means 110 for preparing user information based on user's viewpoints, a means 120 for monitoring user's action, and a means 130 for registering the user information in the information resource referred to by the user as key information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
