PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrusting situation measuring method in a tail part of a shield machine and a device thereof capable of learning a thrust condition between a tail seal and a lining whose inside is pushed out on real time. ;SOLUTION: A plurality of pressure sensors 12 are provided across a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction in a tail seal mounting part of a tail part of a shield machine to measure pressure distribution in the tail part from pressure data from each pressure sensor 12 when reaction force is taken for a lining 20 by a segment assembled in the tail part and is pushed out for digging.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
