PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet deviating device to lead a section one by one to one of multiple page arranging routes along a deviation route. ;SOLUTION: A sheet deviating device is provided with a pair of deviating rolls 34, 36 to lead a section 142 to one of multiple page arranging routes 26, 28 and a deviation wedge unit 110 to deflect the section to one of the page arranging routes to be selected. The deviation wedge unit 110 is positioned in between the deviating rolls so that the section may get to the deviating route and provides further support to the section when the section proceeds to the deviation wedge unit from the deviation rolls. The deviation rolls can be engaged mutually with the deviation wedge unit so that the positioning of the deviation unit can be made.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
