DRIP PREVENTIVE BOTTLE MOUTH STRUCTURE, AND DRIP PREVENTIVE INNER PLUG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the liquid drip when an aqueous liquid contained in a bottle by forming at least a tip part of a bottle mouth of continuous curve using a hydrophobic resin so as to be free from any straight part where a liquid drip can be stored on an edge flange of the bottle mouth. ;SOLUTION: A hydrophobic resin cylindrical intermediate plug 20 having a body part 21 and a bottle mouth edge flange part 22 is fitted to a mouth part of a bottle 10 formed of a hydrophilic material such as glass. The bottle edge flange part 22 is continuously arc-shaped in its sectional part, and an arc 24 outside its top point 23 is formed so as to be more steeply dropped than an inner arc 25. The top point 23 is formed to be generally located below T1/2, preferably not more than T1×2/5 from an inner circumferential wall surface of a bottle 10. The hydrophobic resin to be used for the intermediate plug 20 suitably includes a polyethylene resin and a polypropylene resin with excellent liquid drip preventive manufacturing performance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
