PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent faults caused by the supply of large incombustibles which are discharged from a pyrolysis reactor into a cooling apparatus or a separation apparatus and to miniaturize the apparatuses thereof. ;SOLUTION: This treatment apparatus comprises a pyrolysis reactor 2 for heating waste to be pyrolyzed, a discharging apparatus 6 for separating dry distillation gas from pyrolysis residues C, a separating apparatus for separating the pyrolysis residues C which are discharged from the discharging apparatus 6 to combustibles and incombustibles, and a combustion apparatus for burning the dry distillation gas, and the combustibles and is provided with a separation mechanism 7 comprising a horizontal-rotation drum body 3 and a discharging cylindrical body 4, of which one end is fixed on the drum body 3 and the other end opens inside the discharging apparatus 6, having a spiral part 9 of which one end is connected to an end part inside the discharging apparatus 6 of the discharging cylindrical body 4 and wound into a coil shape with a diameter approximately equal to that of the discharging cylindrical body 4, having a space for separating the pyrolysis residues C inside, while transferring the pyrolysis residues C toward an edge side, of which the other end is formed into a free end.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
