PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inspection method of a blister pack for automating the inspection of the normal/defective condition of the punching of the blister pack and the inspection device. ;SOLUTION: By paying attention to the fact that the position relation of a long side which is the peripheral edge of the blister pack and the filling part 105 of the blister pack is different between the blister pack 1 of normal punching and the blister pack of abnormal punching and recognizing the position relation of the long side of the blister pack and the filling part 105 of the blister pack, the normal/defective condition of the punching of the blister pack is inspected. In order to recognize the position relation of the long side of the blister pack and the filling part 105 of the blister pack, a silhouette image for which the blister pack is an object is obtained and the long side of the blister pack and the contour of the filling part 105 of the blister pack are clearly projected. On the opposite side of cameras 21 and 22, a light source 12 and a diffusion plate 11 for turning the light source 12 to a planar light source are provided so as to obtain the silhouette image.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
