PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cw filter that provides brisk sound, high articulation and high selectivity.;SOLUTION: A telegraphic signal received externally is given to a filter section 1 consisting of a band pass filter, where the signal receives a band limit, an envelope detection section 2 applies envelope-detection to the resulting signal, a signal level recovery section 3 discriminates a level of the detected signal nearly in the middle of the signal. The section 3 outputs a logically high level when the discriminated level is a prescribed level or over or outputs a logically low level when the discriminated level is not the prescribed level or over. A tone signal generating section 4 provides an output of a tone signal generated continuously when the signal level recovery section 3 outputs a logically high level, while the tone signal generating section 4 shuts off the tone signal when the signal level recovery section 3 outputs a logically low level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
