ILLEGAL WRITE PREVENTION METHOD AND SYSTEM, RADIO COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT USING IT AND INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION WRITER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system and method where an illegal access is effectively prevented and illegal manufacture and use of the radio communication equipment are disabled. SOLUTION: The method for preventing illegal write to an individual information area of a memory 204 built in a radio selective calling receiver 20 is provided. A memory 204 stores a password to permit access to the individual information area, a control section 202 discriminates coincidence/dissidence between the password received from tan individual information writer 10 and the stored password and a counter 103 counts number of times of dissidence. When number of times of dissidence exceeds a prescribed number, the control section 202 deletes information stored in prescribed addresses of the memory 204 and inhibits write of information to the individual information area after ward. The individual information write 10 is normally started even when number of times of dissidence exceeds the prescribed number.
