PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a porous polymer membrane provided with hydrophilic properties and capable of withstanding long-term use. ;SOLUTION: A resin material and a cellulose derivative as a hydrophilic polymer are dissolved in a solvent and mixed with a nonsolvent. The resulting liquidmixture is applied to a substrate to incorporate the resin material and the cellulose derivative into the substrate, and the objective porous polymer membrane provided with hydrophilic properties is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
