PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault point locator capable of locating a fault point by using a zero-phase current separating ratio method when there is a power source with a grounding resitance in branches of parallel dual power transmission lines or plural places of the loop.;SOLUTION: A zero-phase current detecting means and a zero-phase voltage detecting means are arranged on one end T1 of parallel dual power transmission lines, a correction term is calculated by using a position dn1j and current capacity In1j (j=1, 2,..., k) of respective branches connected to a 1L line and a position dn2j and current capacity In1j (j=1, 2,..., n) of respective branches connected to a 2L line on the basis of zero-phase current detecting values 101, 102 and zero-phase voltage detecting vaglue V0, and corrected zero-phase separating currents 101, 102 are determined by using this correction term.
