PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant manhole protective construction method capable of slippage and preventing stress of a connecting part even in an earthquake more than a specified seismic coefficient, setting the conventional connecting part of a product and product strength as they are and economy reliability of which are greatly expectative. ;SOLUTION: Concrete side blocks 1, 2 are accumulated with a main sealant 3 between them on a connecting part, and a rubber made protective collar 4 is fitted on the outside of the connecting part in a hoop shape. The rubber made protective collar 4 is provided with an extension adjusting part 5 projectively formed outward roughly on a central part of its drum part, provided with antiskid irregularities 6, 6 on upper and lower inner surfaces and provided with fitting grooves 7, 7 to engage fastening bands 8, 8 with on upper and lower outer surfaces.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
