PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst to give performances of the excellent moisture curability, high strength formed in a short time, and thermal stability in use, by utilizing a tertiary aminoalcohol having a dialkylamino group and an alcoholic site with the number of carbons of a specific value or above. ;SOLUTION: This catalyst is a tertiary aminoalcohol of which alcoholic site has the number of carbons of 3 or more, and the structure thereof is expressed by the formula (wherein, R1 and R2 are each alkyl; R3 and R4 are each H or alkyl; and (n) is 3 or more). An example is 3-(dimethylamino)-1-propanol. The catalyst chiefly as a hardener is blended in a one-part moisture cure type urethane-based hot melt adhesive, and a blend amount is desired to be 50-2,000 ppm based on the whole hot melt adhesive. The adhesive is obtained by heating while stirring a urethane prepolymer having at the end an isocyanate group [NCO/OH (equivalent ratio): 1-5] along with the catalyst. The heating temperature desired is from 70 to 100°C, and the heating time suitable is about 0.5 to 3 hr.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
