PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the composite reality presenting system that generates and presents a virtual image not deviated from a real space. SOLUTION: This system has a position sensor 101 that inputs viewpoint position information in time series, stereo cameras 102R, 102L that input plural images in consecutive time series, and an image processing unit 200. The image processing unit detects a depth image ID from a stereo image received in the consecutive time series as the consecutive time series image, estimates a viewpoint position of a viewer at a future time to provide a 3-dimensional image for the viewer based on a change in past viewpoint positions received from the position sensor, consecutively modifies the consecutively obtained depth images to the images at the estimated future viewpoint position and provides a 3-dimensional gradation (or color) image generated according to the modified depth image to the viewer.
