PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject microorganism capable of efficiently treating a liquid which can not be treated with an activated sludge method, since it has a salt resistance and decomposition-treating capability against a high salt concentration waste liquid having a prescribed value or higher salt concentration and containing organic materials. ;SOLUTION: This microorganism has a resistance and decomposing capability against a high salt concentration waste liquid containing organic materials such as an organic acid, a peptide, an amino acid, oils and fats, etc., and having ≥3.5 w/v% salt concentration such as sodium chloride, etc., under a neutral condition and an aerobic condition, and is coagulase negative. Further, the salt resistant Staphylococcus sp CH-4 is deposited as FERM P-17317, and it is preferable to add the salt resistant Staphylococcus sp CH-4 into the high salt concentration waste liquid containing the organic materials and having ≥3.5 w/v% salt concentration under the neutral condition and perform a decomposition treatment of the organic materials under the aerobic condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
