PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a solid matter generated through a chemical treatment to be efficiently recovered by providing a capturizing element in a treatment chamber for chemically treating an exhaust gas containing dust and, at the same time, a dropping means which drops the dust and the solid matter accumulated in the capturizing element from the element, and further, arranging a recovery chamber below the treatment chamber. ;SOLUTION: A noxious gas and an exhaust gas containing dust discharged from an exhaust gas generating source 1 are guided into a treatment chamber 3 through an introduction dust 2. A treating agent supply means 4 is connected to the treatment chamber 3, through which the treating agent is introduced along with the introduction of the exhaust gas, and both exhaust gas and treating agent are brought into contact with each other to make them undergo a chemical reaction. In addition, a capturing element 5 is arranged in the treatment chamber 3 to make the element 5 capture the dust contained in the exhaust gas introduced into the treatment chamber 3, and at the same time, a harmless solid matter and also a harmless liquid content generated through chemical treatment in the treatment chamber 3 are captured by the element 5. The dust and the like accumulated in the capturizing element 5 are caused to drop into a recovery chamber 7 arranged below the treatment chamber 3 by vibrating the capturizing element 5 by the help of a dropping means 6 and thus the dust and the like are recovered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
