摘要

In treatment of dust-collected water for exhaust gas in a converter, the present invention efficiently separates the dust in the dust-collected water by using an additive. This method for treating dust-collected water for exhaust gas in a converter is characterized in that: dust-collected water containing dust obtained by performing a wet type dust collection process by a wet type dust collector on converter exhaust gas is introduced to a coarse particle separator to separate coarse particles of dust, and then a flocculation sedimentation process is performed with a thickener; and the water temperature of the dust-collected water is measured at any position of a first flow paths from an outlet position of the wet type dust collector, through which the dust-collected water flows, to a position inside the coarse particle separator, and a flocculant of a concentration corresponding to the amount of dust in the dust-collected water, which is assumed from the change in water temperature, is added to the dust-collected water at the position among a position between the first flow paths and a position between second flow paths from the outlet position of the coarse grain separator to a position inside the thickener. The water temperature is preferably measured with a non-contact type thermometer.
