METHOD FOR MOUNTING ORDINARY TEMPERATURE SHRINKAGE TUBE AND DIAMETER ENLARGING JIG FOR THE ORDINARY TEMPERATURE SHRINKAGE TUBE USED FOR THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an ordinary temperature shrinkage tube for end treatment of an insulator-coated wire of a fine material such as particularly a control and instrumentation relation or the like. ;SOLUTION: The plyer type diameter enlarging jig 10 having a pair of diameter enlarging pieces 11 openable and closable at a hinge shaft 12 as a center is used. The method for mounting an ordinary temperature shrinkage tube comprises the steps of inserting the pair of the pieces 11 of the jig 10 into the ordinary temperature shrinkage tube 14, enlarging the diameter of the tube 14 by opening it, inserting a covered wire 15 into a space at an inside of the tube 14 generated thereby, and then drawing the piece 11. Thus, the tube 14 is mounted near a terminal mounting art of the wire 15. Even if the wire to be treated is thin, it is not difficult to cover the wire with the tube 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
