PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an aluminum alloy brazing sheet for a heat exchanger excellent in strengths and corrosion resistance and to provide a brazing method using this brazing sheet. ;SOLUTION: One side of an aluminum alloy core material contg., by weight, 0.5 to 1.8% Mn, 0.05 to 1.2% Cu, 0.02 to 0.3% Ti, 0.01 to 1.0% Si, 0.06 to 0.8% Fe, and the balance Al with impurities is clad with a brazing filler metal contg. 5 to 15% Si, 2.5 to 8.0% Zn, and the balance Al with impurities, and the other side is clad with a brazing filler metal contg. 5 to 15% Si, and the balance Al with impurities, and an inert gas atmosphere is applied to brazing.
