PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclined single cylinder water-cooled internal combustion engine which has a small size and a low cost with volumes and functions of its peripheral members of a radiator, a fuel tank, etc., maintained, which are conventionally disposed on an upside of its body. ;SOLUTION: A fuel tank 7 is longitudinally provided on a side face of a crank case 1 with a vibration-proof support structure. A flywheel 4 provided at an end of a crankshaft 3 is provided with a cooling fan 5, while they are covered with a fan case 6 having a cutout. The cutout is disposed along a part of a wall of the fuel tank 7 such that they constitute a volute guide of cooling wind from the cooling fan 5. A radiator 8 is nearly horizontally provided at an upper end of the crank case 1 above an inclined cylinder block part 1a, while the radiator 8 is covered with a radiator cover 10 thereover such that they constitute a duct to guide the cooling wind from the volute guide to the radiator 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
