MACHINE TRANSLATION SYSTEM, ITS TRANSLATING METHOD AND STORAGE MEDIUM IN WHICH MACHINE TRANSLATION PROGRAM IS STORED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine translation system capable of more exactly specifying similar cases to be imitated to obtain exact translation of an inputted sentence and translating the inputted sentence with high translation accuracy. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a case storage part 20 in which the cases consisting of a pair of a sentence by an original language and a sentence by a corresponding objective language are preliminarily stored, a part 40 for calculating degree of similarity of case to calculate a degree of similarity between two optional cases, a similar set creating part 30 to create the set in which is mutually similar cases as factors based on a calculated result by the part 40 for calculating degree of similarity of case, a part 60 for calculating degree of similarity of set to calculate the degree of similarity between sets creased by the similar set creating part 30, a most similar set specifying part 50 to specify other set similar to the set including the inputted sentence most among the sets of cases creased by the similar set creating part 40 and a conversion part 70 to convert the inputted sentence into the sentence by the objective language based on the cases to be included in the set specified as the most similar set.
