PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refresh a photoelectric conversion device which is used for an X-ray photography at the optimum timing. ;SOLUTION: The mean value of image Data inputted from a photoelectric conversion device is first calculated on the pixel values of the prescribed region by a mean value calculator AVE. The calculated mean value is added to an accumulated value by an accumulated value arithmetic device SUM and with the mean value again written in an accumulated value Counter. The mean value is compared with a Threshold value in a comparator CMP, and if the mean value is higher than that threshold value, a signal Cmp is given to an arithmetic unit CPU.
