PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall face material for reinforcing mud wall capable of constructing a reinforcing mud wall easily and preventing the collapse of the reinforcing mud wall, having excellent stability and durability, and being favorable for greening plants and a method for constructing the reinforcing mud wall simply using the wall face member. ;SOLUTION: A panel A for earth retaining is constituted by integrating a rectangular concrete plate (a) and a substantially triangular concrete plate (b). This wall face member for reinforcing mud wall is constituted in such a way that a lower side of the substantially triangular concrete plate (b) is engaged with a groove a1 in which the panel for earth retaining A to be piled up on it is formed on an upper side of the rectangular concrete plate (a), a projecting part a2 provided in one end part of one rectangular concrete plate (a) and a recessed part a3 provided in the other end part thereof can be mutually fitted when linking them in the direction of length (lateral direction), and a netlike banking reinforcing member is connected to a connection part D formed in a lower part on a back face of the rectangular concrete plate (a).
