PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the term of works and save the construction cost by using a sheet pile as wall surface material in construction method of banking reinforced earth wall, and provided a slide type joint in the connecting part between the sheet pile and a banking reinforcing material. ;SOLUTION: A sheet pile 1 is driven as a wall surface plate to the extent to which it can self-stand to wind load without considering the earth pressure, the banking of the bottom part is constructed, a strip or grid reinforcing material 3 is connected to a joint provided on the sheet pile 1, and the banking and the connection of the reinforcing material 3 are successively repeated. The joint is formed by inserting a long shaft bolt (or reinforcement bar) 5 with locking spring to a vertical pair of support plates 4, 6 with insert holes fixed to the sheet pile 1. The back filling banking part is settled by compaction with the lapse of time, but the reinforcing material 3 is settled along the long shaft bolt 5 to add no excessive force to the sheet pile 1. A material 2 for reducing the wall surface friction is interposed between the sheet pile 1 and the banking.
