PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power supply cable from deflecting without applying an excessive load to the cable, and to prevent the cable from being disconnected. ;SOLUTION: In a power supply system for a crane in an automated warehouse, including a pair of masts 3, a cargo bed 5 moved up and down along the masts 3, a power supply cable 8 fixed at its one to the heightwise middle part of the mast 3 and at its the other end to the cargo bed 5, and having is intermediate part drooped down so as to form a U-like curved part 8a, a guide rail 26 laid in parallel with the masts 3, an elevating frame 17 arranged to the guide rail 26 so as to be elevatable, and a constraining wheel 22 attached to the elevating frame 17 and wound thereon the curved part 8a of the cable 8, the constraining wheel 22 is attached to a swingable frame 20 pivotally supported to the elevating frame 20, and the elevating frame 17 is suspended by means of a wire rope 27 fixed at its one end to a hightwise substantially middle position of the mast 3, and at its the other end to the cargo bed 5, through the intermediary of a rope sheave 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
