TROUBLE ELIMINATING DISPLAY OF MOTHER BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trouble eliminating display of a mother board provided with display functions for the results of trouble diagnosis and inspection by which a trouble in the case of setting of a computer is dissolved by each user. ;SOLUTION: When the trouble occurs in hardware, judgment is performed upon receiving information of the trouble at a single chip whose input terminal is connected with each peripheral equipment of the mother board 20 via a bus by the display to be provided on the mother board 20 and to include the single chip and a driver. Furthermore, the driver is driven, display is performed on a display unit 50 and the trouble of the peripheral equipment is confirmed by observing the display on the display unit 50 even without using an external connection interface card.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
