PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power and torque of engine output by providing a valve adapted to open simultaneously with or a little later than an intake valve special for air fuel mixture at the time of intake stroke, and close a little after the bottom dead center since it enters the compression stroke to a little before the top dead center. SOLUTION: A 4-cycle engine is provided with an intake valve 1 and an exhaust valve 2 special for air fuel mixture, and further provided with a valve 3 adapted to open simultaneously with or a little later than the intake valve 1 special for air fuel mixture at the time of intake stroke, and close a little after the bottom dead center since it enters the compression stroke to a little before the top dead center. Further, the engine is provided with an intake valve 4 special for air, which is adapted to open before the air fuel mixture is expanded to excess to become resistance to rotation and close at the bottom dead center. The intake valve 4 special for air is not required in the engine adapted to open the exhaust valve 2 first. A carburetor 6 is installed in an intake pipe 7 reaching the intake port opened and closed by the intake valve 1, and a space 9 without anything is connected to a path 100 reaching the port opened and closed by the valve 3.
