PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-generating device capable of generating power by reciprocating a second movable body, arranged facing a first movable body in the state of noncontact by the effect of a magnetic force generated between both of the movable bodies. ;SOLUTION: This power-generating device consists of a first movable body 1, which has a permanent magnet formed in a ring type where magnetic poles are alternately different in the peripheral direction, a second movable body 2 which is arranged being isolated from the movable body 1 in the axial direction and magnetized in the same manner as the first movable body 1, a retaining means 8 which movably retains the movable body 2 in the axial direction and rotation disabled in the peripheral direction, and a power generation unit 9 which generates power by the movement of the second movable body 2.
