PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dyeing agent capable of dyeing a keratin fiber, especially human hair by a mild and durable method and having dyeing concentration comparable to that of oxidation dyeing agent by making the dyeing agent include a specific compound and an aromatic amine.;SOLUTION: This dyeing agent comprises (A) 1,3-indanediones of the formula [R1 to R4 are each H, a halogen, nitro, amino, OH or the like; R1 and R2 or R2 and R3 form each a 5-6C alkylene, 1,3-dioxol bridge, a (substituted) condensed benzoaromatic structure or the like or R2 and R3 form 1,3-dioxo- propane-1,3-diyl group] and (B) an aromatic amine. The component A includes 1,3-indanedione, 4-nitro-1,3-indanedion or 5-nitro-1,3-indanedione. The component B includes e.g. p-phenylenediamine derivative, pyridine or pyrazol.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
