PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquatic life living river improvement structure capable of improving the water area in river, lake, swamp and seashore, at the same time, realizing an environment suitable for the living of aquatic life and maintaining the water's edge in a more natural state. SOLUTION: A wooden settlement floor 2 as a living place of aquatic life is settled on an underwater floor surface in river, lake, swamp and seashore, and a plurality of blocks 3 are laid on the wooden settlement floor 2. An aquatic life living river improvement structure allowing the blocks 3 to make water flow and forming channels for producing a water current flowing inside the wooden settlement floor 2 is adopted.
