PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anodic oxide film-coated member excellent in resistances to thermal cracking and to corrosion.;SOLUTION: In a material having an anodic oxide film on an Al or Al alloy substrate, the surface roughness of the substrate before anodizing measured by the following methods (i) to (ii) is 0.1-5 μm. (i) The surface roughness is measured at 3 or more positions on a segment line optionally selected on the substrate surface and having 25 um length, the measured surface roughness at ≥1 position (average in the case of ≥2 positions) except the maximum value and minimum value among the obtained measured values is a measured value A. (ii) The process is repeated ≥3 times, and the average of the measured values A is used as the surface roughness. The surface roughness of the anodic oxide film on the substrate is also 0.1-5 μm when measured by the methods (i) and (ii).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
