PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a magnetic card, which shares means and can easily and securely be inserted by both a visually handicapped person and a nonhandicapped person, at low cost. ;SOLUTION: Instead of a figure of an arrow, a triangle, etc., usually used for the magnetic card, a figure of the gripping right hand with the pointing index finger is drawn at the lower end to allow the nonhandicapped person to recognize the insertion direction of the magnetic card with fluorescent paint applied to the whole image or the part of the index finger or by feeling rough at the gripping part of the fingers and the visually handicapped person to recognize the insertion direction by feeling rough at the finger gripping part. Other parts are unnecessarily when both the nonhandicapped person and visually handicapped person are able to recognized the insertion direction only by sensation, and consequently the cost is made lower.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
