PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably charge a specific raw material into the center part of a furnace in high accuracy with a comparatively simple means, in a bell-less type blast furnace using a swing chute.;SOLUTION: In the bell-less type raw material charging method, by which the raw material held in a furnace top bunker is distributed in the furnace through the swing chute 2, the raw material dropping shock is reduced or the raw material flowing width is reduced by a method for increasing the number of swinging of the swing chute at the position where a lower inner wall point at the tip part of the swing chute exceeds the center line of the cross section in the furnace, or a method for fitting a cylindrical chute to the swing chute to charge the specific raw material 4 into the center part in the furnace.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
