PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To balance weight, to prevent coming off and to shorten depth dimension by forming a through hole for inserting a connector part to be connected with a CRT on a substrate of a CRT, inserting the connector part of a socket into the through hole, and fixing the connector part to the position passing through the substrate. ;SOLUTION: A CRT socket 1 has through holes 7 and 8 formed in a small diameter circular cylinder part 5 and a large diameter circular cylinder part 6, a metal plate 3 for electrical connection is inserted into the through holes 7, 8 from a back surface 1b, and the inserted end of the metal plate 3 and its other end are folded back in the outer circumferential direction. The circular cylinder part 5 and the tip part 3b of the metal plate 3 are fit to a through hole 12 having the diameter almost the same as the circular cylinder part 45 and a hole 11 perforated in the CRT socket substrate 10 from the back side to fix the connector part 2. The tip part 3b of the metal plate 3 is soldered to metal foil formed in the periphery on a front surface 10a side of the hole 11 of the socket substrate 10. The center of gravity of the socket substrate 10 is positioned on the connector part 2, weight is well balanced, and coming off from the CRT can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
