PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent fall-off and incomplete insertion of a medium tray against a housing cell with an extremely simple constitution in a recording medium magazine. ;SOLUTION: When the magazine is detached from a recording medium library device and carried to the other place, a handle 24 is turned for displacing to the 1st position erected from the outside of the magazine in company with the operator's clamping and hanging operations of the handle 24 of the magazine. Thus, all hold arms provided in correspondence to the individual housing cells are run into the housing cells 4 all together to forcibly hold the medium trays 5 in the housing cells to the prescribed positions in the housing cells. When the magazine is loaded into the recording medium library device, the all hold arms 22 are retreated all together from the corresponded housing cells through the driving mechanism by the operator's operation to turn the handle 24 to displace to the 2nd position inclined toward the outside of the magazine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
