FUEL SYSTEM ARRANGING STRUCTURE IN MOTOR SCOOTER TYPE MOTORCYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a wheel base while securing tank capacity by arranging a fuel tank in a rear upper part of an engine unit so as to overlap in the longitudinal direction with the engine unit, and extending fuel piping in a tunnel formed between a floor and the engine unit. ;SOLUTION: A front half part of a fuel tank Tf and a transmission part 8 are overlapped with each other in the longitudinal direction, and a bottom wall of the fuel tank Tf and an upper surface of the transmission part 8 are arranged in close vicinity to each other. A floor 31 is constituted of a part for covering an engine unit Eu of a car body cover C. A tunnel is formed between the engine unit Eu and the floor 31 of the car body cover C so that fuel piping P is inserted into this tunnel. Thus, the fuel piping P can be arranged by effectively using a dead space, and the total length can be shortened.
