PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert the recorded wavelength of reflected light by applying a compsn. which swells a volume phase type hologram layer and which consists of a photopolymerizable compd. and photoinitiator on a hologram recording medium.;SOLUTION: This composition utilizes properties of a photopolymerizable compd. which can swell the volume phase type hologram recording layer of a reflection type hologram recording medium that the compd. permeates into the volume phase type hologram recording layer to swell the interference fringes recorded in the layer. The component of the volume phase type hologram recording material is a thermosetting resin having two or more oxirane rings, and for example, it is an epoxy compd. produced by condensation of various kinds of phenolic compds. such as bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin. As for compds. having radical polymerizable unsatd. double bonds among the photopolymerizable compds., for example, polyesteracrylates and polyols are used. The photoinitiator consists of a compd. which produces free radicals by irradiation of UV rays, and for example, benzophenone is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
